    Center for Computational Mathematics and Control Research

    On November 30, 2022, based on the resolution of the first tripartite coordination meeting for the operation of Shenzhen MSU-BIT University attended by the presidents of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Beijing Institute of Technology, and Shenzhen MSU-BIT University, and in recognition of the close and productive cooperation among the three institutions in science and education, the parties further deepened their collaboration by signing a memorandum of understanding on October 24, 2023, to establish the "MSU-BIT-SMBU Joint Research Center for Applied Mathematics" (hereinafter referred to as the "Center"). The aim is to coordinate the formation and development of the Center.


    The Center's objectives are to implement joint research projects, jointly train high-quality talent, organize scientific activities, and carry out academic exchange programs in the fields of fundamental and applied mathematics, including but not limited to the following areas: control and optimization; big data analysis; supercomputing and network computing technologies; computational mathematics; fuzzy mathematics and applications.


    Currently, the Center comprises seven laboratories: the Control and Optimization Laboratory, the Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, the Mathematical Modeling Laboratory, the Global Network Technology Laboratory, the Computational Mathematics Laboratory, the Fuzzy Mathematics and Applications Laboratory, and the Mathematical Physics Laboratory.
